Our last shoot involved a real tornado, but my apartment currently looks like it’s been hit by another, after a crazy week of costume/make-up meetings, tech rehearsals and other pre-production chaos. Yesterday’s shoot was wrought with the usual (and some rather unusual) challenges, but that’s to be expected, right? Auditions! More Fests! TRIPPIN’ on the Horizon…

We’re a few hours away from our first batch of PROM auditions this afternoon, midterm grades are turned in, and DOLORES just got into fest #12 – Cape Fear – sweet! Congrats, Team! Fests, Another Award & Other Deviance

It’s been a good week for Deviants. Our PROM team now has a puppetmaster(!) and pre-prod for our teaser is moving along. Meanwhile, our PROM FROM HELL screenplay has just placed in another competition! It’s a top 5 finalist in the Visionfest’s Screenplay Competition (fingers crossed she goes all the way). DOLORES is also seriously starting to get around – up to 9 fests already! And DEATH IN CHARGE just won’t die.
