So, trippin’s premiere was not only a smashing success, but we also won our first award! Go, team!
For anyone who’s had a film screen at a festival, one likely knows that the world premiere is both exciting and a bit nerve-racking. Death in Cambodia – Sweet!

Death in Charge is seriously getting around. It’s now screened at 76 festivals, garnered 15 awards and numerous nominations and it continues to travel the world. While I was off with it in Alaska, it was also screening at Cambofest in Cambodia – here are some stills – how cool is that? Go, Death! Congrats to the entire team!

I got back from Alaska yesterday and actually found L.A. a bit nippy – how weird is that? I don’t know if this is common, but I always feel a little sad after a particularly great fest experience. For 11 days I had a new home, family and lifestyle. We’ll all stay in touch naturally, but never again will that same group of people live in that same environment altogether like that. I can’t believe it’s been 10 days already. How does this always happen? This world feels so familiar by now, like we’ve created a “home” here somehow that seems far too established to be the result of such a small period of time.
