Our last shoot involved a real tornado, but my apartment currently looks like it’s been hit by another, after a crazy week of costume/make-up meetings, tech rehearsals and other pre-production chaos. Yesterday’s shoot was wrought with the usual (and some rather unusual) challenges, but that’s to be expected, right? It doesn’t change the fact that everybody rocked, we got amazing footage and I simply adore our expanding super talented and fun team.
Our brilliant still photographer got some AMAZING shots we’ll share soon (along with the upcoming teaser of course) but in the meantime, here’s a sneak preview of what’s to come from a few stolen moments on set when I simply couldn’t resist pulling out my own camera. Is there any more thrilling feeling for a writer/director than to see her characters and world come to life before her eyes? Perhaps there’s one thing - to be surrounded by such amazingly talented, wonderful people who are equally enthused about it. Thanks to everybody! You all totally rock! Excellent work, Team!
