It’s been a good week for Deviants. Our PROM team now has a puppetmaster(!) and pre-prod for our teaser is moving along. Meanwhile, our PROM FROM HELL screenplay has just placed in another competition! It’s a top 5 finalist in the Visionfest’s Screenplay Competition (fingers crossed she goes all the way). DOLORES is also seriously starting to get around – up to 9 fests already! And DEATH IN CHARGE just won’t die. Fangoria will be featuring it at at their convention in Indianapolis over July 4th weekend.
If you’re looking to catch DOLORES, I’m pleased to announce we’ll screen at the SCI-FI LONDON fest (a MUST for genre fans – too much fun and always great films). We’re also screening at the Night of Horror Fest in Australia. For our fellow Americans she’s playing local as well – catch her in the Midwest at the Motor City Nightmare Fest, Kansas City Film Fest and Riverbend Film Fest. Next up are the Phoenix and Int’l Sci-fi and Horror fests where fest buddy’s Travis Betz’ latest musical masterpiece THE DEAD INSIDE (which is tearing up the fest circuit – Go, Travis & Team!) will also screen. Watch out Phoenix, the Mishawaka Mavens of the Macabre are headed your way for a long overdue reunion. Bring your raincoats – gore’s gonna fly… Now, it’s off to go corrupt young minds (i.e. teach) before I hop the next plane. Have a great weekend!
