OpenyourEyesSo I’m off to the BendFilm Fest in Oregon at 4am.  Fun times.  Death’s actually screening at fests in  Memphis and New Orleans this weekend as well, both of which I’d chew off my left foot to attend only I don’t see how that would really help.  Besides, Bend has offered to put me up for free and it’s supposed to be a really great fest.  Plus, I’ve never been there, so I suppose it’s only right to try someplace new.  Read the rest of this entry »

my fabulous hatsmSo yesterday I picked up our fresh batch of trippin’ DVDs from Copyright Video.  En route I was stopped at a red light jammin’ to Billy Bragg’sNew England“  when a darling boy donning a fabulous hat in the next car over calls out, “Love that song!  Love your hat!”  I complimented his hat as well and asked him if he likes horror films.  Turns out he loves those, too.  Before the light turned green, I jumped out and handed him a trippin’ postcard.  Shameless!  Me and my one-track mind.    If you should happen to read this, Fabulous Hat Boy, I promise you a free ticket to our L.A. premiere whenever that may be…
