Just like Sheila E., Devi wants to live the glamorous life. She’s not quite there yet. In the meantime, here’s where she’s at…

Juror Duty

November 19th, 2009 by Devi Snively (The Directrix)

jury-boxoldfashion-lookTalk about feeling “all grown up.”  For the first time I am in the juror’s as opposed to the filmmaker’s seat for a festival.  It’s pretty super cool actually.  It came about in an interesting way.

trippin’ in L.A.

November 18th, 2009 by Devi Snively (The Directrix)

screening2smarmaghetto screeningSunday night we had about 20 people here for a sneak preview screening of trippin’.  The technology wasn’t optimal.  A too small TV perched upon cardboard boxes, bad speakers and seating that ranged from folding beach chairs to a rock hard sofabed does not quite compare to the Arclight, but bless our dear supporters for enduring.  They were a truly generous audience and I believe a rather good time was had by all. November 12th, 2009 by Devi Snively (The Directrix)

arma-ghetto teapot 2So, I destroyed my teapot a couple months back.  I put some water on and spaced it until all the water was gone and the teapot got all burnt up.  Since then, I’ve been boiling water for my morning coffee in this saucepan we have.  Anyhoo, I was boiling some water when Kenny walks in and shakes his head.
