So I’m off to Alaska for 2 weeks in a matter of hours and I feel that familiar rush of adrenaline. Too much left to do (why the hell am I blogging?!) and I don’t even know where I’m staying yet (rest assured, there are a couple of options on the table so it’s not like I’ll be panhandling in the glaciers…I hope)

Yes, that’s right, I admit it. I should be flogged. I don’t know exactly how or why it came about, but I had never seen Pan’s Labyrinth. Much to the chagrin of our directrix Devi Snively and probably even our FX wizard Ian Strandberg, if not others on the cast and crew, I had not seen Pan’s Labyrinth, a movie I have now watched and can say with full authority that it is an awesome flick.
You know, smoking weed isn’t something just anyone can do…not with style, anyway. A lot of people might think marijuana, like many other drugs, is what it is…you smoke it, make cookies or whatever, get high, and that’s it. There is little or no respect for the ritual itself. But, smoking weed is more like drinking wine than anything, and I consider myself a connoisseur. Read the rest of this entry »
I’m not sure how it’s possible, but I don’t remember the precise moment I met Heidi Martinuzzi in person. I knew of her through her website Pretty-Scary as well as the two amazing reviews she’d written for our films Teenage Bikini Vampire and Confederate Zombie Massacre!, but I don’t quite recall the actual moment of “Heidi, meet Devi. The tourists always looked the same when looking at the Camden High Street in the busy beehive sometimes referred to as London. It was a quiet afternoon pint with a musician friend of mine and someone who was referred to as an roadie – although he just travelled with the band and did little apart from getting pissed and making sexist jokes.
