On a triumphant day for trippin’ a few months back, Kenny Dusek, who plays “Joe” in the movie and is also my roommate in our “armaghetto chic” pad in Los Feliz, quoted this cheesy song in praise of one of our teammates for a job well done. So, it’s our first night at Devi’s, a night or two before the actual shoot begins. We’ve just had one final read through of the script and the cast seems ready to go. We go about getting settled in, no easy feat in light of the fact that the entire cast and most of the crew will be calling the Hotel Snively home for the next couple of weeks. I step outside for a cigarette and, as I’m apt to do, find myself wandering about. I’m on the side of the house when I notice a light go on in a second floor window. I look up to see Lindsay, who plays Holly, moving to and fro, setting up her room for the coming weeks.
“Move along, there’s nothing to see here,” a little voice inside my head tells me and so I go about my business of wandering. Read the rest of this entry »
Our ridiculously talented and supportive team of Chinese VFX artists are sending over some group and individual men-and-women at work photos for us to use in press-kits and whatnot. I’ve never seen any of their faces! I’m so excited I could spin until I barf.
Allow me to introduce myself – I’m Devi (pronounced DAY-vee like the Hindu goddess who delights in dancing on corpses whilst donning a garland of skulls around her neck, but the similarities end there I’m afraid…). I’m the writer/directrix of trippin‘.

A seventy two hour blitzs is about to see the completion of the new Trippin site theme. I’ve only got a little more testing, a painful IE6 bug to squash (does anybody really still use that?) and the front page to hook up.
