stepfordwives_headlinerDamn – this just gets better and better.  Too many amazing people here – both the other filmmakers and the locals alike.  I’m a bit concerned in fact.  It seems almost too idyllic, people are almost too happy.  I haven’t wandered into Stepford, have I?  Folks back home, please check to make sure I haven’t been turned into a robot me when I get back…

our barSo, today we met with the press, established our regular bar for in-between screenings, and saw more great films.  I’ll review the films when time permits, but for now, suffice to say I’m honored to be among such a great selection.  Both of our screenings were well-attended and well-received.  We opened for one of the most wack films I’ve seen in ages,  Cold Storage.  Part Deliverance, part Texas Chainsaw Massacre, part Psycho with its own unique brand of disturbing, yet oddly touching dementia.  So much more to tell, but no time.  I’ve got a super early screening tomorrow morning and that 4-poster bed looks too inviting…
