VFXDT25_ZedStabbing01 (00047)Thanks to Liberal Dead reviewer, Ted Brown, who proclaims TRIPPIN’  “a cleverly constructed dark comedy that never lets up, constantly causing uncontrollable attacks of laughter.  Blended perfectly with fair amounts of 80s style splatter gore, the film perfectly captures the best of both genres.” Read the full review – HERE.

TRIPPIN’ Wins Best Horror Comedy!

February 5th, 2012 by Devi Snively (The Directrix)

best horror comedy trippinA small, but heavy box arrived yesterday.  It came from Wisconsin (gee, that’d be a good movie title!).  I love surprises, but for some reason I had a strange feeling about this one.  A bomb?  A body part?  A murderous Jack-in-the-Box?  I opened it with anticipation.  Inside the cardboard box was another box — this one upholstered in cloth with a drawer that slid out.  Inside that, a trophy!  Apparently, TRIPPIN’ won Best Horror Comedy at the Whitewater Film Fest this past fall.  Congrats, Team!  Congrats also to buddy Elias Matar whose brilliant film ASHES won best feature!   Yay!  What a nice way to end our fest run.  Thanks, Wisconsin!
