Good comments Devi. One of my favorite films is "Rope", but Harvey is also a great classic. People that think inside of a box are usually very insecure. One of the only ways they can obtain self validation is by socializing with other small minded people and by belittling people that do not share their views. However, because their best friends are full of prejudice and discrimination, their life becomes a paradox in which they constantly have to worry about whether they are in the "in crowd" or the "out crowd". Sort of reminds me of another one of my favorite films, "Pleasentville".
